Water well Rig mounted on a Low mileage Bedford MJ 4x4 Truck with High and low speed range with variable 2 and 4 wheel drive. Truck has a 6 cylinder turbo charged engine and is left hand drive.
Rig is supplied by EDECO (on Hands England design). It has a 6" by 6" heavy duty box section frame with four hydraulic stabilising jacks. One at each corner. Powered by Ford 5.9Litre 6 cylinder 2713E engine driving a Hydro-Perm triple hydraulic pump.
The Top Head Drive is driven by twin hydraulic motors, and has a 6 metre stroke. The Rig is equipped with two strategically placed Safety Emergency Stops and has an operators safety cage fitted to the drilling table area. A 2.5ton capacity Winch is fitted to the Mast to assist with pipe/case handling. |
